Repairing chips

Any chips in the coating of your didgeridoo will lead to cracking. The sooner you repair it the better.

Here are some hints on repairing your chips.

The most common area for didgeridoos to chip is on the bell end.. Raw exposed timber will split so you need to cover the exposed area with a varnish or glue as soon as possible.

Option 1

Super glue is readily available and easy to use. Apply it to the exposed area only. Don’t let it run up you didgeridoo.

Option 2

Any polyurethane gloss varnish.(single pac ) will do. Apply with a small brush or layer it onto the chipped area with a pin at the rate of ½ drop at a time
